  1. At 6:22 Heaton claims there is "scientific evidence that the brain retains some functions for 90 seconds ..." implying there might be some pain. What evidence? What functions? When the neck is severed, blood pressure in the brain instantly goes to zero, and oxygen transfer virtually stops. So, within less than a second neurons cannot function.
