This is the same as the Cybertruck. Decades of industry experience and safety knowledge just ignored. When I did management training, we were taught there were 3 kinds of managers:- a) managers who do things the same old way ''because that's how we've always done it.'' These people let the competition win and should be terminated; b) managers change things because they don't know how it was done before they came along. These people are dangerous and cause companies to go broke; c) managers who find out how it is done, think about it, and devise a better way. These people are worth their weight in gold. I guess Tesla as a company is the second kind. They make a lot of noise, get lots of media attention, but have a tiny market share and probably will disappear.
