At 28:52 she gets right to the crux of the matter: "It wasn't me that murdered my boyfriend, it was the wine I drank that murdered him." That should go down well in court.

I suspect she did know or suspect. The camera is almost certainly visible to anyone in the room. At one point she cried. I've noticed toddlers won't cry when they hurt themselves if they think they are alone. I laugh at jokes on TV, but not if I am watching alone. Do women cry when they are alone? There is not much point in it. Jodi continually played the I'm just a pretty, sweet little girl who needs protecting card - that's why she wanted her makeup. It probably worked well in the past - she is rather pretty and has a nice voice.

She lost me when she suddenly made up that story about a man and woman who supposedly came and murdered Travis while she was present. Why did the cops go through the lengthy interrogation process? It seems like they had conclusive evidence from the site that Travis was murdered, nobody else was there, and she done it. It mattered not a whit whether she confessed or not, she definitely done it. Was it because they realised her lying nature, that she was a bad liar, and decided to give her the opportunity to make up plenty of nonsense so that her credibility was completely gone and nothing she would think up for defense would be accepted?

Over the years I have met many females like that. Even my wife was like that. She took my car for shopping, and came back with a dent in it. Paint and crud stuck to it indicated she had hit a pole. She just refused point blank to accept it was her fault. That's what women do. Only difference is my wife hit a pole and it cost me a few hundred dollars, whereas the female in this video murdered her boyfriend.

Yes, it was smart to ask her to come in like that, but it wouldn't matter if she didn't. In their own time they would go around and arrest her anyway. By asking her to come in next day, the cops got to go home on time and be with their kids etc.

Very smart detective. But Willimas must have been real dumb to fall for that boot print vs fingerprint nonsense. How the heck did he get to be a colonel? Did he want to be convicted? That cop's approach is hilarious - I'm your friend, I'm trying to help you. Well no, he's working to break you, and it worked just fine. Don't Canadian military officers get training on how to interrogate, how to resist interrogation? That's a standard thing in most militaries. All Williams did was let his mind race round in circles, and let the cop know it.
