  2. This video says that electrical guys find AC difficult to understand theoretically. Well, that was the case in the earliest days, and they had to use calculus as the video says. But very early on George Steinmetz at GE showed how vector algebra made it easy, and analysis of 3 phase transmission and distribution was made easy by his method of symmetrical components. Steinmetz and GE did a lot more to make AC widespread than did Westinghouse and nutter Tesla.
