  1. This video is a lot of ill-informed speculative nonsense. Note that the average lifespan of the nobility in England in Elizabeth's time was about 60 years. Elizabeth I lived 69 years - exceptionally long. Clearly her makeup didn't do her too much harm. Note that the nobility's average lifespan in Elizabethan times is sometimes quoted as 42 years, but this figure is skewed by the then high rate of death in early childhood and in giving birth. Once noble women got through childhood and birthing they average about 60, dying from diseases for which there was then no known cure.
