She sits there with her mouth open for a few seconds, desperately trying to think of a way to avoid an answer, then finally comes out with "I do not believe ... " Weasel words. If a defendant in her court answered like that, she wouldn't believe him. And neither would anyone else. Arrogant woman, not very smart: By telling Kennedy that she can't say if he read her words correctly as she doesn't have her writings in front of her, she is more or less stating that Kennedy may be a liar. Which is about as likely as the sun turning green. This is standard Kennedy any time he smells a dud nominee. Don't these idiots bother to come prepared? A supervisor once told me when I was a young lad, "Always tell the truth, don't think about it. Then you don't have to remember what you said." Apparently not something this fool woman understands.
