These pictures reminded me of the production in Australia of the Leyland P76 car - a huge ugly thing powered by the Buick/Rover alloy V8. Leyland had done an incompetent job of market research on what sort of car people wanted, and designed a car that few would want, and topped it off by building them with rubbish quality. So only a few hundred people bought them. But the factory just kept on turning them out, until the British parent eventually noticed the money going out and none coming in, and shut the factory down. By then there were hundreds and hundreds of acres of P76's rotting away in open air yards across Australia. Much more than the EV's shown in this video. I remember driving past and seeing them. China is not the only place that makes mistakes.
