  1. Sukhoi wanted to copy the British TSR-2? Gee, that would have been a BIG mistake. The TSR-2 was essentially a scam that was supposed to be a very low altitude supersonic bomber, but it couldn't be flown at low altitude and had so short a range it could not fly to any conceivable enemy country.
