  1. Wasn't the Titanic taken south of its planned course in order to avoid an iceberg field reported by other ships? The iceberg it collided with was further south than expected, though there were a more up to date report from another ships. If Titanic deviated from its planned course, that clearly establishes that they were not trying to arrive early in defiance to prudence.
    2
