  1. Probably not furious as in a bad temper, more like really annoyed, as in these servants can't think and do things right. It's an annoyance that should not have happened, but he should have thought on his feet and handled t better.

  2. Generally, important ceremonies are rehearsed, so that silly things that detract don't happen when it matters. Looks like this one was not. Charles was clearly annoyed at 0:02, waving his fingers at the inkpot. He could have just quietly said "hold the pens a moment please" and it would have looked a lot better. Later, at 0:43 he makes a weird grimace baring his teeth at an aide over the pen case. This is a mark of an aspect of Charles that may matter: A normal person would have moved the pen case himself, as the others did when they witnessed the document. A mark of someone born to privilege and servants and unable to function without the most basic things done for him.

  3. I don't what on earth this is all about, but it sounds like the Russians have their own version of US General Westmoreland - more concerned about correct uniform than about performance.
