  1. Mr Mentour Pilot, you are funny without meaning to be. The point of this video is a) passengers informed on what they need to know, and b) ensure that they see "technical issues" in the context of being safe, rather than as an instance of equipment unreliability. Then at 11:56. you speculate that the electrical surge caused by turning the pump back on too quickly, tripping the pump circuit breaker, blew the PA circuit board out. The whole point in the engineering process of designing power wiring - basic competency if you like - and choosing the size and location of circuit breakers is to ensure that any fault causing a surge is contained in its effect to ONLY the equipment fed from the tripped circuit breaker, and does not spread to other systems. If there is an aircraft where this has not been done, then I sure don't want to fly on it. I have however been around long enough to know that the rare coincidence of two completely unrelated faults does occur.
