I initially thought that myself - tell a stewardess so she can report to the captain. But then I thought the pilots would know they had no power from that engine at the very least, and should know that no bleed air and electric power was coming from that engine. Rightly or wrongly I might think they would notice a reduction of weight on that wing. They would be extremely busy - I wouldn't want to be a back seat driver and upset their processes. My job as passenger in such a situation would be to sit quiet and let the professionals do their job.
