  1. Founder creator here. It's no exaggeration that my channel would not exist without Patreon and the patrons who supported me there. For the first year or so of my channel's existence, I had 7 patrons giving me a total of $50 a month. Enough to buy equipment and editing software. It still is a huge part of my revenue, and the site's enshittification scares the shit out of me. A lot of creators will go out of business if they collapse.
