I am merely trying to understand. Socrates: perhaps, not unlike all peoples of the world, through all times, had to have a spark of the divine implanted, in order to A) ever make sense of any right, true order of living and B) to ever be able to recognize the one, true Gospel, when/if encountering it. Socrates, then, had a far larger spark, relatively speaking, and an intellectual/insightful prowess to more clearly describe The Type (Christ and his revelation), still foggy, like Christ all over the Old Testament in shadow form vs New, but far more illumined, more gifted than, say, struggling minds such as mine. Hence, Christ, at the final judgment, will judge each based upon what knowledge was given and what deeds came forth as a result. I'll slink back to my cage, now...apologies if I'm out in left. field.
