  2. Completely agree and half of the problem is how big a cut the 'agency gets'. This sort of business is so open to exploitation as long as it is criminalised. The sensible way is to legalise, regulate and tax it.

  7. Really! Sex workers do not charge that much. If a guy is not creepy and pestering women for s3x then he can have any number of female friends. Social security in Britain is not that great, so women here don't have choice not to do this once their money runs out.

So if your money is being shared with anyone, then the person you share the money with could be charged with 'living off immoral earnings', a woman can also be charged with soliciting if she is in the street talking to a guy and guys can get done for kerb crawling and there are a whole raft of other charges that can be made.

Frankly, I don't know what you regard as high IQ, but I used to work as a researcher in a unit making clinical trials drugs at Cambridge University. Many women fall into prostituti0n because of need not greed. Especially where women have children and they have been abandoned by the childrens' father and they have no cheap childcare to help them into work. With the benefit changes to Universal Credit this is becoming increasingly likely as there is a 5 week wait for benefits to be paid and then on top of that if the woman finds work then she has to pay the childcare costs out first and then be reimbursed later. Many of these women borrow money on high interest loans to tide this period over and are stuck in debt afterwards. Women turn to this because they can make a days pay in the matter of one hour. That time can fit around their kids and the work can be done from home.
