  1. This happens with any virus, they naturally mutate this is why we can never get rid of colds or flu. The more frequently something is passed on the more opportunities the virus has to mutate. If this was a man made virus then wouldn't China or wherever made the cure before releasing it?

  2. Vaccines don't cure anything they prevent and even then they are not foolproof, there will always be members of the population that they are not effective in.
