Embrasse Le Chat she, to me, is just a great person who wants France to retain its culture and be sovereign.

Actually Styx, 4 days is not at all long to bring out a new queen's speech. It's about average in fact. The maximum is 7 days in this particular case. Between 4 and 7. HM the Queen signs things off. She meets with the pm every week. The EU is about to go into recession, they have problems of their own. The criminal Christine Lagarde who has been given the presidency of the ECB (European Central Bank) is gearing up to spew out another round of Quantitative easing which is a big damn mistake. But the eu are nothing if not monetary and financial nincompoops. HM speech is written by the government of the day and debated before it is delivered. Cheers.

Actually HM is obligated to follow the advice of her PM and privy Council. She has no choice in the matter.

@Betta66 we're leaving the eu. That's that. There's no point in continuing this dialogue. You've said nothing novel that I haven't heard in over three years of dealing with bitter remoaners. I have no more time to waste with you. Can I suggest that you find someone who shares your chagrin about brexit? Misery loves company they say. I am personally thrilled that we are getting free of the EU. My dialogue with you is now terminated AFAIAC. I bid you a lighthouse keeper's farewell.

@aitchisondaniel That's not how it works Daniel. 1. She has already approved it. 2. HM the Queen is obligated to follow the advice of her PM and the privy council so no... She can't refuse.

@lucianraphael9527 that's right, and even europhiles over those decades could barely raise anything more than a lukewarm response. In all this time I've noticed that remoaners never actually have any POSITIVE arguments for remaining, only dire predictions of we leave. I think that in itself tells you that the argument for remaining is "scotch mist". I'm reaching the point now where I see no point in even engaging with remoaners. They think we are still having a referendum campaign. 🙄

Theresa May's an IDIOT. regulate the internet .. pffff what? like the Chinese do? she's a dipstick. how can you prevent peer to peer encrypted applications unless you absolutely control servers for your entire country I heard North Korea has one IP provider perhaps Theresa likes that model? it's the usual problem/reaction/solution. she's a dunce. go to the back of the class Theresa. the Islamists are LAUGHING at you may.

well. that is a fair assessment. and yes if the EU imploded (which is not beyond the realms of possibility) then I for one won't be shedding any tears or losing much sleep.

Greetings Styx Actually the brexit party doesn't need a manifesto for the eu elections. It's pointless. MEPs have no sway over domestic legislation and no national legislative programme. The election "manifesto" of the tories is basically "vote for us, we won't be MEPs for long, or even at all. We are the party of Brexit." Brexit is developing policies for a potential GE in autumn... No point in publicising national policies in advance of a General Election and give all your plans away to the opponents and media. Better to keep counsel.

Do you mind if I insult CNN? COS that makes me happy. CNN talked utter BOLLOCKS during the US election. I'm a UK brexit voter who APPRECIATES Donald Trump.

GDPR comes into effect May this year. If they harvested data without clearly explaining what they intended to do with it under GDPR they would be looking a €20m or 4% of their international turnover. Under GDPR it's against the law to collect data without getting consent. GDPR definition of consent ... "freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of a data subject's wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement of the processing of personal data relating to him or her." and the processing has to be explained. So that's the end of that rubbish from these pisstakers. What's that saying? When you aren't paying, you are the product.

"In June of 1969, Manson tasked Family member Charles "Tex" Watson with gathering money to prepare for the world conflict. He began by defrauding a drug dealer named Bernard "Lotsapoppa" Crowe. When Crowe realized he had been duped, he publicly threatened to wipe out the Family. In response, Manson showed up at his Hollywood apartment and shot him with the same gun that would be used in the Tate murders one week later. Crowe survived. He never reported the crime to the police."

@Nudhul I wonder what you are hiding...

@Betta66 nice condescension there kid. The UK has been debating eu membership for decades. We live in the EU. We do business with and inside it. So yes, we know what we are voting about. The EU has been unpopular with the UK for a long, long time and it's getting worse.

Anti-Federalist 1776 the Jews huh? You don't even know any Jews.

@Nudhul you have a purse ?

Greetings Styx. It's ludicrous what's happening. They are basically just issuing a "warning" like they did to Poland. But these two great countries are PROTECTING their citizens. They are proposing to trigger article 7 because hungary is stopping ILLEGAL immigrants from entering. Go figure.... The EU is in a lot of trouble. Seriously.

Actually he broke the law. He has a suspended sentence for live streaming in a court where minors were witnesses. He was sentenced to 13 months and was given a suspended sentence. He was live streaming outside a court where minors were witnesses and were protected by law from media exposure. He broke his conditions and the judge lifted the suspension immediately. He admitted guilt before the judge and that was that. The judge didn't sentence him. The judge lifted an existing suspension. There was no requirement for a jury trial because he was already convicted. In criminal cases where minors are involved there is an automatic reporting restriction to protect the identity / identities of minors. The UK has armed police. They are specialists. People are allowed to own guns in the UK. You are not allowed to discharge a firearm within 50 yards of the queen's highway. You aren't allowed to discharge one in public places. You can shoot foxes on your farm, but you must kill the animal cleanly or face prosecution for causing distress to an animal. .... There's a lot of misunderstanding about the situation with Tommy Robinson. ... Do a bit more in depth ....

Incidentally, many of the people voting in the upcoming EU elections are E27 citizens who are entitled to vote in the UK because they are eu members. So that will skew the EU elections in the UK towards remain supporting parties quite substantially. (there are over 4 million eu27 citizens in the UK, and perhaps 50% will vote, maybe less. Let's say 1 million. That's quite a chunk that will support remain parties on the whole, who CANNOT vote in national elections).
