  2. Our position is this: We will pay what we are obliged to pay because we agreed. Nothing more. And by the way, we want our rebate back from 2006 onwards paid. Because we gave it up (40%) on the promise of CAP REFORM which the EU NEVER delivered, and in fact ignored. So hand it over please, and we really should sue for opportunity cost because you failed to reform the CAP despite the commitment. And we could have invested and used that rebate we gave up, or got a BETTER CAP deal. But the EU LIED; and failed to Keep its agreement. So hand it over. And by the way .. I want UK auditors to inspect the EU accounts to see how you have been stewarding our contribution. How's that sound as a deal? How's that strike you?
