@jimmyjimmy6315 you're not getting one. You can push for one. Knock yourself out. You should know that Parliament has already debated no fewer than four e-petitions for second referenda of various flavours. The first one had upwards of 4 million signatures. (Many were fake). The most recent one is this : https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/200004 Read the government response. It's basically the same as for the first one. The libdems also introduced a motion proposing a vote on the final deal. Here is the parliamentary vote. It was defeated by 286 votes on 11 July 2018. I encourage you to look at it. https://youtu.be/Z6Z6287bGhE There's not going to be a second referendum of any description. Parliament has already debated this and ruled it out. Forget it.

@jimmyjimmy6315 Thx for the "advice". I took an opportunity to look through e-petitions concerning eu referendum and brexit and I think you'll find this amusing.... No particular order accept the earlier ones here tend to have more responses... I've shown the petition title with the number of responses and either closed or closing date. Then the link so you can look for yourself. The government responses are really worth seeing. Enjoy... @jimmyjimmy6315 incidentally. I've waited over 2 decades for an opportunity to fire the eu. Boris and vote leave had no effect on me at all. I observed the eu over that period. That's why I voted to LEAVE the eu. When you say "we".... You should know that uk opinion has been strongly anti eu membership over many, many years Remain had . Government . Media . IMF . Obama . Bank of England . Chancellor "Snortin" George . Christine Lagarde . CBI . Libdems . Labour . Conservative . Green ALL FIGHTING FOR REMAIN. AND LEAVE STILL WON! 😂 😂 😂 Not to mention the £9.4m government proposaganda leaflet and the PRIME MINISTER. ALL SUPPORTING REMAIN. BUT LEAVE WON. Remain unleashed project fear on us. And WE VOTED TO LEAVE. Just exactly what will you campaign about if we had another referendum? Because we've heard all the scare crap. It won't work. Leave would have a FIELD DAY telling voters that the government WON'T RESPECT THEIR BALLOTS. Leave would MOCK all the stupid remoaner stories about "super gonorrhea" and "BLT SANDWICH SHORTAGE". 😂 Let me tell you now, the parliament will throw out any motion for a "people's vote". Its not going to happen Don't fool yourself. We have less than six months till brexit. It would take longer than that JUST TO GET a bill for a second referendum through parliament. It's not even a "government business" motion, and parliament has a LEGISLATIVE PROGRAM set in a parliamentary calendar to get through parliament. You don't get a bill through parliament because you stomp around DEMANDING one. It doesn't work that way. Cameron won an election and got a majority with a referendum on the manifesto. It took two years for the referendum to run. You are a kid. Or ignorant. Parliament does not work the way you think it does. If someone introduces a bill as a private member, it might get a look into parliament. But not long. This is an extract from Wikipedia for you.... Enjoy.... In the Westminster System, most bills are "government bills" introduced by the executive, with private members' bills the exception; however, some time is set aside in the schedule for reading such bills. They may be introduced by non-ministerial MPs from government-supporting parties... The government is, as a matter of policy not going to introduce a second referendum bill. I garauntee you. Don't pin your hopes on a second referendum kid. It's not going to happen.

@jimmyjimmy6315 Sure Second referendum. .... It's gunna happen soon .. We'll vote remain this time and everything will go back the way it was... Big bad leave will vanish... No more big bad leave voters.... We'll be in the cuddly soft everlasting arms of the loving eu. Here's a 🐻 for you. Called Teddy. Snuggle up to the second referendum teddy bear 🐻. Here's a fairy cake 🎂. Have a cream puff. 🍚. Nice Teddy 🐻.

Uh huh. Let me tell you something. If the UK tell the EU, FINE. WE'RE LEAVING WITHOUT A DEAL. Then their "BACKSTOP" means NOTHING. Their deal means NOTHING They will have to deal with the consequences in Ireland and in their budget. They will VERY QUICKLY want to start talks again. They did when CANADA walked away from negotiations and said, "We can't deal with you". They did when TRUMP jacked up their tariffs and said "I CAN'T DO BUSINESS with those guys". They FLEW OVER to the White House and got all pally with him. They did when Ireland voted against the Lisbon treaty (they fiddled around with it and changed as little as they possibly could). If we WALK AWAY they will absolutely want to confront the border issue in Ireland because that's what they've been CARPING ON ABOUT for the last two years. But the UK has already said it will implement a physical border in Ireland. We've already said that. Ireland has ALREADY said it will NOT implement a physical border. Therefore, they will HAVE TO find a solution. Where there is a will, there is a way.

@biocapsule7311 the Good Friday agreement is unaffected. Do not attempt to persuade me otherwise. I have neither time nor patience to get dragged into it. There will be no border facilities built on the NI/ROI border. Not by the UK. Don't even bother trying to appeal to WTO. It has no bearing at all. Post any rubbish at me and I'll mute you immediately.

@biocapsule7311 There's no need for any border. It's absolute bullshit. It's being used to concoct associate membership. It's 100% ruse. I've been through this many many times and i don't propose to get dragged into this shit again. So don't try. I'll give you that post, but that's it. There is no need for any customs control (structure) between NI and ROI.
