  1. Absolutely. And the USA have no intention of generating legislation that we have to make law. Neither will their courts be superior to ours. Nor do they want to form a USA / UK standing military. Neither do they want free movement of people, though visa free reciprocal travel for 3 months would be nice. They don't want a customs union or single market with us, and they do not expect membership fees or control over our fisheries or agriculture or foreign policies. They have no intention of forcing us to adopt their currency. They don't want an ability to "approve" our budgets. They don't want the UK to bail them out. They do not want . Financial, Fiscal, monetary union . Tax Harmonisation . Debt mutualisation . A "USA / UK" flag and anthem Basically, the want a free trade agreement with us plus some other benefits (visa free visiting).
