The government manifesto stands. I would suggest the government can withdraw the bill and reintroduce a modified one. Or they can keep the bill on hold until it's too late for the Lords to try this shit.

  8. Martyntd5 that's the real point. The bill is about transferring eu law to the UK statute books. It's not about ongoing negotiations or the final deal. They are trying to invent legislation and affect policy instead of looking for legal caveats and flaws and oversights. That's the point. They are acting like they have a mandate. Seriously. Many people are disturbed by this regardless of stance on brexit.
