  1. LOL Parliament CAN'T extend or even rescind article 50. The EU will only deal with the UK government, i.e. No 10 and government MINISTERS. So Parliament can't do a thing. parliament is a bunch of backbenchers. They represent local constituants. They do not represent the UK internationally. So this is just completely misunderstanding how Parliament works and how government works. The government sets the legislative timetable. The parliament debates it. Members can bring private members' bills but they would never use that for anything other than domestic politics. So really, this is just ignorance.
