  1. My English cousin lives in Florida. His 16 year old stepson has never had a geography lesson, apparently. As they're learning Spanish in school, he asked him to point out Spain on a map and he couldn't. 😒 His mother is Greek, so asked him to point out Greece and he took a wild guess and pointed to France.

  2.  @anserbauer309  I know, the whole Irish thing is very strange. My cousin works in a restaurant and for St. Patrick's Day they were packed. He had all sorts in from Mexicans to black people, all claiming to be Irish 🤔 Getting back to his wife, her mum is German and her dad is half Greek half Romania, apparently, so I don't know why she claims to be Greek anyway. Apparently they all speak Greek at home, go to their church and celebrate the Greek holidays. As you say, very bizarre indeed.

I don't know her personally, she's my cousin's wife, afaik she's never even been to Greece herself, but like a lot of Americans claims to be something else. Like the ones claiming to be Irish. I wonder how many of them could point out Ireland on a map?
