  1. At first I didn't understand the concept of learned helplessness, but when you explained it better I see that I have gone through it with my ex. After I found out he lied to me about many important things, I mentally checked out of the relationship. I just stopped caring about it, I was like: "You know what? Do whatever you like, I don't care" and it was true. I didn't care at all. I think we broke up two weeks after, I couldn't stay with someone I couldn't respect and for whom I felt just indifference. Btw, can I ask you a favor? Could you please put a trigger worning next time you talk about experiments that involve animal abuse? It's physically painful for me to listen and/or watch about it 😢
