  4. Yes of course the police require institutional change! But it is NOT illegal to ask police for their credentials!! (Warrant card if they knock on your door; search warrant from a magistrate to search a house, etc.) I'd be doubly sure to do that if it was a plain clothes guy on his own!! 😏 Always challenge. Let that be our watchword!
