There was a guy on Sean Attwood's channel on YouTube, who said that Starmer didn't "take the chance" to prosecute Savile, because he was afraid of failure and of losing his chance at a knighthood. Which is all Starmer was ever after. Britons in office are rewarded for "playing it safe": ie, for failure to do what needs to be done. 😏
