  1. I think that you are thinking of the space issue as too much of an "either/or" juxtaposition - with other pressing issues such as homelessness, Jimmy and friends... The fact is, that a rich, modern capitalist society could pay for BOTH, and a lot of other things besides, IF they taxed people like Bezos and Musk enough. It's not a case of: "We can only afford one item!" (I used to hate it, when my mother said that at the toy store, when I was little. I knew it wasn't true, even then! 😏) And seeing as ex-president Obama and the Pentagon have recently admitted that UFOs are real... Maybe we should just be putting a bit of money in that sort of area.... 🙂
