  1. Britain shouldn't need to rely on these Russian pipelines anyway, as we get very little of our gas from Russia. About half is "home-extracted"; 40% comes from Norway.

  3. OMG. Fancy them making laws in Europe (not here? Many of our forests still belong to lords and shit!) To stop people picking up deadwood?? Mind you: they have so many large forests on the Continent: in Poland, France, Germany.. Don't worry, no-one who is actually freezing in Europe this winter will listen to the government! The government will simply get ignored - and that's what SHOULD happen, if people really want to be free! 😄 The French with their yellow jackets are very restive: and as for the Poles, they're very ingenious at scavenging (no skip is safe! 😄) So I should think that they'll be grabbing old furniture off rubbish dumps - and recycling centres - never mind just picking up sticks! 🙄
