For me, the most amazing info was near the end, when it said that syphilis was most harmless when it was a "tribal" disease, contacted very commonly by children through skin-to-skin contact.And that that actually immunised them from the more severe venereal form of the disease. 😮

@zeebest1004 You really need to read what the popular Swedish philosopher Jostein Gaarder (Sophie's World was his bestseller) says about the difference between Indo-European cultures (visually based) and Semitic cultures (aurally based). 🙂

@amethyst1826 Germs must be dead after all those centuries!! 😏 Some people on here are saying that those skeletons are tubercular. I know that tuberculosis, another bacterial disease, can affect bones...

@FFM0594 Well then the expert in the video is daft. This video is bass-ackwards anyway bcos it gives the most important info at the end. It does say it can be transmitted via skin though...
