  3. In the Paeleolithic, people already had alcohol. (Only not spirit alcohols. I've read Jean Auel's Earth's Children series! 🙂) In fact, grains were almost certainly one of the first crops we cultivated: and brewing was certainly the motivation. We found out that grains (and of course bananas in Africa) made better hooch than just a few berries. 🙂)
