Grande's analyses are SO STUPID!! 😏😏 People in these kind of situations are SO reluctant to go to the police: for the precise reason that they might meet lots of "Grande" types there!! 😏 The reason they did was obviously because their friend was missing - and they had to report it to somebody! (Even though they were probably aware that they would STILL get blamed, if he were not found.) And they naturally felt quite a bit of guilty, for speeding away and abandoning their friend... 😏 The movie has a sheriff character in it, who puts forward the exact same "contract" theory. He ends up retracting it. "Critical thinking skills" /= CONVENTION-BOUND thinking skills!! Your kind of "critical thinking" is the killer of all advancement! 😤 IF YOU, at the start of any "investigation", COMPLETELY AND OUT OF HAND, dismiss the very possibility of extraterrestrial/extradimensional visitors, then it shows you haven't really taken the subject seriously at all, therefore are useless as a "mentor" on the subject. 😏
