  1. You can have high growth and low wages in an economy, such as the US: which means that there are inflated share prices, but the wealth doesn't get shared around, so what's the point? 😏

  3. @Killergoat69  Well: Barbara Ehrenreich was certainly saying so, in her books in the 2000s, about the US service economy. It has a very low minimum wage, which doesn't appear to have regular increases, like ours does in the UK. Plus the service economy is VERY resistant to unions and to wage rises... #FightForFifteen
