I think another problem with "tech companies" (and apps, and everything started by privileged millennial geeks basically) is that *they think they're exempt from previously existing local and national laws*. On everything. Including advertising and other promises made to the public. NOT SO!! National laws prevail; governments need to enforce them. As well as people knowing their rights!!
