  5. It's true. Press standards have gone down a lot. And they are run by people who just want to make money (via sensationalism); and since they've gone online it's all about clickbait. But this isn't a RECENT development. It was covered in Nick Davies' book Flat Earth News, which was published in 2004, and covered examples of press sellout from the decade or two before. 😏
