Unless you are referring to political controversies regarding gender identity politics that Rowling has more recently (Well after writing the novels) got herself embroiled in? I am sorry: but I DO think that millennial + Generation Z snowflakes (especially the latter!) need to just GET OVER, their fetishism, and pathological need it seems to me, to conflate an author's political or similar pronouncements, with their work. That is a truly babyish thing to do! You're really just trying to put people off, when one has very little or nothing to do with the other.
