But wasn't it you bringing up all the old dreck about Sachs-gate? 😏 Anyway, as someone on an earlier video of yours commented, I didn't see Jonathan Ross getting any belated flak for that, or getting dragged into the Russell Brand accusations... But as they also said, Ross has been keeping a very low profile recently... I think that so many male TV presenters are letches anyway. I saw the eyes that he was making on TV at Charlotte Church the singer, when she was still a teenager... 😏

  7. No. He IS definitely no Savile! And in my opinon, it is only because of this country's establishment-ass-kissing belated guilt (after the Savile horse had well and truly bolted) that "commentators" and journalists didn't care for many years (not enough to stick their necks out anyway!) because they didn't stop him and other kids' TV presenters from abusing children. that all this fuss is being made about Russell Brand. 😏

  8. I DISAGREE. Most civilized countries have statutes of limitation. Usually of varying lengths, for all crimes except murder. THESE EXIST FOR A REASON. 😡 So that people who have had chaotic youths, etc, and then have settled down and have families, are not pestered in middle age, because of decades-old accusations/charges. It is only because this country is basically still living in the middle ages, that we don't have such statutes. (The death penalty for treason is still on the statute book, or was until recently.)

  9. ​ @thigearlatha Yeah. They're a bit funny in Germany now, about people who once worked in concentration camps... They should really have a statute of limitations for that; although in a few years, it will be irrelevant. And I know what the German's motivations are for such foolishness. It's the same as British journalists etc. re Jimmy Savile. They are experiencing belated guilt, that they didn't get (any of, really - apart from the handful at the Nuremberg Trials) the "big fish", and that most people who were real Nazis were seamlessly reabsorbed into German society, and often allowed into, or to re-take-up their jobs in quite responsible professions: judges, the civil service and so on. So, because Germany and its authorities did very little to de-Nazify Germany post-war (their focus was, in many ways quite understandably, on economic reconstruction) they are making these "gestures" now. I hate gesture politics. Anyway, in order to get rid of ALL Nazis in post-war Germany, certainly all Nazi party members, you would have had to IMPRISON AT LEAST HALF THE COUNTRY; at least half of all the adult males. There are good practical reasons why countries aren't stupid enough to do such things! (DId you know, that post the Restoration of the monarchy, England had to have an amnesty, on ALL crimes committed during the English Civil War?)

  12.  @buntyjoy1800  Murder's the only one I've ever heard of (and some countries have one even for that.) Californa's recently monkeyed about with its rape statute, but I believe they have one even there - only they tried to make it different for crimes post 2017! 😏
