  2. Yes, it is, Professor: and it's probably untrue, as well! I don't believe the Sunday Times, or any of the Murdoch press. Or Channel 4 Dispatches, come to that, these days. Any more than I now believe BBC Panorama. Yes, I do think it's all about influence, and control.

  5.  @molybdomancer195  Yeah. The point you are missing, is that the sensible person is seeking to EXPLAIN things, rather than to defend them. Personally, I'm not really very interested in people's hysterical, moralising reactions (That is unfortunately what social media brings out) and tbh, I question Professor Wilson's wisdom, in bringing up this piece of very old news, in relation to the new one. The fact of the matter, is that Brand SHOULDN'T be judged, for a "cruel and malicious act" that wasn't a crime. That is prejudicial, if you want to bandy legal terms. Idiots I encounter on the internet seldom have even a layman's knowledge of the law.
