  1. All this just shows that doctors shouldn't be given these enormous powers over people; much less children; otherwise they will just be tempted to act like Mengele. There are obviously, and always have been - especially after the era of science gave them massive power - a fair amount of psychopaths in the medical profession. ☹️ Oversight is most necessary.
