@martywestywood6004Β It WAS the older and oldest generations who voted most overwhelmingly for Brexit! But not all did: and even for those who did, I think it is erroneous to say that a measly pension increase will cover the costs. (Anyway. The Mirror tells me, that Tories want to stop pensions, to pay for getting rid of National Insurance!)

Β @gloin10Β True... So that makes us more reliant on workers from countries outside the EU.

Refukkk!

βΒ @B_RupheΒ The Tory press will always present it as a mess! (Except they quite liked Blair, for some reason.)

Β @daveball137Β Old cow! ππ

How about making all the foreign-owned companies who do big business in the UK pay their taxes properly? Not just Internet companies: Starbucks, Costa.. Michael Lambert was talking about them on his video earlier today.

That Palace trip... π

I do!! π―π

Certainly if it can be proven they took money..

βΒ @ChrisCooper312Β Hardly!

Why? That's what she is!
5
Wouldn't it be a nice idea, to Trump-proof Britain? π
5
As Michael Lambert's channel also Informs us...
5
And don't forget the letter with the free trip to the Palace to see the King! π

π But if Starmer got in with a SMALL majority, then everyone on the centre and left of centre could push him towards adopting Proportional Representation. π
5
You are a good analyst, Phil! ππ (That's why I resubscribed, a little while back.)

5
Bah! I don't know why you trust Starmer. I certainly don't! π As to growth: I wonder if the little weasel has realised that overall economic growth (GDP) is impossible, given the background of Brexit and global economic slowdown? π

Well explained and summarized, Phil! (I must say, your economic "explainer videos" in these insane times of Trump have been pretty good. π)

Archaic. π That really is the word. The UK has made itself archaic: and reliant on other archaisms, instead of a modern single market.
5
Out of a load of crap policies..

β@alecburrett7482 If duty was only increased on booze "the rich like to drink" it would have to be on expensive and really expensive wines and single malt whiskies only!

π
4
Really?
4
And we don't want a Trump in power over here!
4
Yes, Phil. Privatising water utilities (and effectively selling them to foreigners) was a stupid and an insane idea: I agree with you totally there! So: WHEN will Nu Nu Labour RENATIONALISE said utilities? ππ
4
Β @markwelch3564Β Why is he a terrible campaigner?? Looms like his rallies were very well attended. Starmer can't command such crowds. π
4
Not at all analogous!
4
No, it isn't!
4
Β @PurityVendettaΒ Thought the NHS had a special dispensation, to import workers, from all over the world??
4
βΒ @stephanguitar9778Β We must hope for a hung parliament. Bet the current polling numbers are rubbish: largely because they express reaction against, and a desire to punish the Tories, NOT approval for Starmer.

Try it again with different wording!
4
Why would trans people "creep you out"? From what I've seen online, you wouldn't even recognise most of them!
4
Starmer, Starmer, Starmer chameleon... Red, blue but not Green, Red, blue but not Gre-e-e-en... π΅π
4
Β @casbot71Β Hopefully! π
4
YES. That's what I was suggesting, above (I think) on the comments section!! Civics education for youth; basic politics education about each of the political parties (barebones PPE, basically) and some stuff about the history of voting and how votes were won; and mock elections in school; and teachers basically telling pupils how to cast their votes at polling stations; and the differences between local elections, general elections and referendums, for the benefit of the thickoes! ππ
