  1. HOW can "5%" BE ENOIGH to compensate for the nurses going on strike, let alone for all they've lost since the pandemic? For the entire amount their wages have slipped since the Tories got in, in 2010? 🤮🤮 5% isn't even touching the rate of inflation, much less beating it. 19% is a much more realistic figure. (Take it out of Tory MP's wages, if need be!) The nurses should go out on strike again. And Rishi and the Tories should go.

Personally I noticed how the minimum wage (which is really designed for McDonalds workers etc) "budged" white collar and more skilled jobs up the scale a few thou: only it took about 3 or 4 hrs, from when it was introduced, in May 2000. (And Labour should have introduced it before that.) Know what an "entry level" journalist (with a qualification) got throughout the 1990s? 😏 £8k per annum, as did many an office worker! Now that was a rubbish wage! It was approaching £15 k by 2004, probably more in London. Now tell me the minimum wage didn't do anything for people with above minimum skills!

  48. The tax increase shouldn't have been on the average worker (via freezing the tax allowance) and on small businesses (via employers' national insurance rise). It should have been on the rich! The top rate of tax should have been raised to at least 50%, as it was under Gordon Brown. Rachel Reeves has messed up! 👎 #ReevesOut
