DON'T make that mistake. 😏 Careless use of language will at the least, give US subscribers the wrong idea! Whereas Mr Corbyn is VERY much alive and kicking! He is still an MP, although to all intents and purposes an Independent now. Watch him stand as an Independent at the next GE.   32. Yes. This is interesting: particularly the comparison to the Cuban missile crisis, and Kennedy and Khruschev finally sitting down and "working it out". However, you say that Russia is its own country. But since the break-up of the Soviet Union, the Ukraine has been *its own country too*. Russia, to me, now seems to want to renege on that settlement that was made under Yeltsin; and Putin now seems to want Russia to have much of the territory it had in the days of the old Soviet Union. Personally, I don't think that's going to fly: and I see no moral reason why it should! 😏 Yeah. We need a peace process: but personally, I think that Russia should get rid of Putin. Either before peace talks or after. He's been Russia's president for too long, which isn't democratic; and we don't need strongman leaders anywhere in Europe or in the rest of the world anyway. 😏
