(I've personally never believed in this insincere politicians' way, of flattering the general public, when you can SEE they don't mean it anyway! 😏 That's why people don't trust them.) However (Apart from a few old Tories/fogeys) I personally don't believe that the VAST majority of voters in Islington North are like that! 🙂 (After all, they did vote Jeremy in with a good majority..)

I am glad that Corbyn HAS now divorced himself from the Labour Party by his deliberate actions (he is certainly no fool: and is far too experienced a politician to be caught in formal traps!) And that he will stand, either as an independent, or for another party. (I did think it was a bit early to make the declaration, before the election was even called! 😏) And I hope that he and George Galloway remain friends; and can work together, and with the Greens too! 👍

He is much too pragmatic to be bitter. 🙂 The idea, is to get a number of Green and Independent MPs in nationwide. That way, we CAN have a "left bloc", and it will pressure the Labour Party from the left, including on PR, which Starmer conveniently ignores.. The Tories will not get in again in a hurry. However, Starmer will also not get the Blair-style majority he craves, because he is too beige and doesn't have attractive enough policies. "Six pledges"? Thin gruel! 😏
