  2. Personally I think that it is RIDICULOUS to shout "nonce" at Prince Andrew. Why?? Because 16 is the legal age of sexual consent in Britain, and across Europe now (in some European countries it used to be lower.) It has been 16 for heterosexuals in the UK for about a hundred years. Just because some US states, with their puritan sensibilities, make the age of consent 17 or 18, "doesn't make no odds", in the view of this Cornish woman, myself. 😏 Theirs is a stupid country anyway, with loads of stupid taboos!! Their legal drinking age (even for beer) being 21?? How stupid is that?? 🙄 And re Prince Andrew: Remember that he was a lot younger at the time, as this was twenty years ago.
