Somehow she gets all the same talking points a regular ol' progressive would have but then flips it on its head by being anti-abortion. Like one of the most progressive policies USA has seen was Roe v Wade but this women fundamentally disagrees with that is insane. It sounds like a joke. Like, the PAAU even has a stance on being pro "medicare for all and other single payer health care systems have a significant effect on the ability of people to feel comfortable carrying their baby to term. We support efforts to make healthcare for all accessible, affordable, and affirming for all lives involved." But abortion to them is murder? That's actually brain melting insanity. It's dumbfoundingly stupid. Like how can you be a feminist, empowering womens right to self-determination, and the right to bodily-autonomy but also think a women don't deserve the right to abortion?  No wonder no one has heard of the PAAU before because everyone fucking doesn't like them on the left and right

  6. Gentrification like many things is a double edged sword. The government, people in power, and land owners get a better investment in their property and secure a better future for themselves and their tenets. The people who lose out are the old tenets who have little money.

  10. What do they say in AA? The first step is to admit you have a problem. I think Biden did a lot just by admitting the USA historically had a problem and apologized for it. It might appear to me small and hollow but in the grand scheme of things it's a giant first step. I think everyone here agrees this is the first step and not the last of many more to come.
