  1. Americans really do live in a totally different world. Europe has been the site of countless battles, wars, revolts, revolutions and mass killing, that they're just done with it. Battles and massacres like: Stalingrad, Battle of the Somme, Battle for Berlin, Battle of France, Normandy invasions, Gallipoli, Battle of the Atlantic and the Battle of the Bulge. If i lived in Europe, or anyone, we'd would feel like guns in the wrong hands lead to death and killing. Historically, you can't blame these people for trying to have a sense of security that has been lacking for 100's of years beforehand.
