  3. ***** Eugenics is telling people with whom they should mate. This takes away a person's freedom, can destroy cultures, and would cause conflict. Moreover, who decides which qualities are useful? How far would you take this? If someone were unattractive, would you say that they couldn't have a family, children? Who's to say that an ugly child wouldn't grow up to discover a cure for cancer? Or even a person with a terminal illness for that matter. Restricting people's freedoms, whether it be speech or the right to reproduce, is inherently wrong and would never lead to the betterment of our society. Oh yeah. I'm brainwashed cause i don't want someone saying i need to be sterilized cause i have "bad" genes.
