  1. One of my favourite films is ‘The one that got away’ from 1957 starring Hardy Kruger, it tells the story of Franz Von Werra, the only German POW to escape from the Allies, crossing from Canada to neutral USA.

  2.  @davidlium9338  yes, I’ve seen the film, another good one is ‘The McKenzie Break’ from 1970, a group of German POWs escaping from a camp in Scotland.
