Some might consider this as "convenient".

Why bother having a car, if you're not going to drive it?
1
Amazon still sucks.

If you breathe out in cold weather while wearing your mask, you might see why masks don't work.

I'm here for the cats.

Convenience is still convincing people to sign away their privacy.

It's harder to switch off an ICE vehicle, that is why electric vehicles are being pushed.

Youtube deserves to die.

People are in for a shock when they own an electric car. I remember a hybrid Mazda that needed two rear wheel bearings, normal bearings will cost less than £100, the price for the Mazda was $700 each.

I'm just here for the teleporting cat.

The reason is to hit emission targets, the fuel economy is negligible. If it wasn't a money grab then they would have designed the system to adapt itself to the new battery, how hard would that be? Most smart charging alternators rely on the alternator for the most part not providing full charge, thus reducing drag caused by the alternator generating current, ECU/BCM provides a PWM for the output requested, the alternator increases charge and the ECU will read the battery voltage and this will provide feedback to the ECU/BCM.
1
@jb2590 Most alternators are effectively "always on", the regulator is only there to regulate output voltage and prevent over charging, a standard alternator will output between roughly 13-14.5v depending on load and engine speed.

Firefox is junk, it has got more bloated and slow. My final straw was when they started promoting BLM. Opera for me.
1
You haven't broken their TOS, you have however been caught say things they don't like
1
EV's are a rip off full stop.

I cancelled my Amazon account that I have had since 2003. I recommended others do the same.

More people are seeing through the climate grift.
1
It's about choice.
1
Well they kinda do with the cheaper printers, the ink cartridges are usually more expensive than buying another printer.
1
TV's are doing it, I own an LG and even though I have disabled (lol) notifications, I still get the odd message pop up about Alexa or Netflix.
1
It's one of the many reasons why I no longer have the Amazon account I had for over 21 years. #deleteamazon
1
Some cars flash their hazards under heavy braking, aren't Tesla's advanced enough to do this??
1
Well if a particular demographic didn't spend so much time stealing............

Google is always the bad guy.

F Paypal, F Stripe and F Square, oh and hi Blackberry.
1
Photobucket keeps sending me emails saying I'm going to lose my photos. F Photobucket.
1
@mforce2 Dealers or rather Stealers make more than enough money from their customers without fleecing them to re-calibrate a vehicle for a change of battery, VW and many others wrote software that fooled emission testing, so you really think writing software to automatically calibrate itself for the battery is so hard (or expensive)?
1
F Amazon.
1
It's funny how these companies preach about the environment and climate change while at the same time preventing the repair of their hardware and thus extending the lifetime of said hardware.
1
The equipment may have been more expensive, but when it comes to replacing his battery again, he again, won't have to go to the dealer.
