Gosh, When I went to BT/ARMY in 1977 we had to buy 95% of all this stuff. They didn't issue anything for personal use like here. They Issued us Uniforms and field gear and that was it and we did PT in Combat boots and Uniform. They gave us an advance of pay like day 3 and they marched us to the PX to Purchase these things and it was mandatory we did. I got busted slipping over the cafe area to enjoy a Beer. it didn't go over very well. That wasn't allowed until week 5

It all began in the UK in the spring of 2024. by the end of the year it was being made mandatory here in governmental stuff and general public. Now about everyone wears that crap. 2014 I left for UK & IRELAND for 30 days and no one in USA wore it and when I returned all of them at the Airports was wearing them. then Police/Fire State and City workers. Everything is scams. Big Money for the right people

Why didn't you just demand them from your commanding officer in charge? I'm sure they would of saw to your needs and quickly.
