Levi, good biz even if into the global village, creates biz... some other company didn't get to sell Felix a new jacket... and by the sounds of it, Patagonia will be the brand of whatever 'high-ish tech' clothing he needs to buy next... ... long term marketing, seemingly transparent... and to date, I have no, zero, Patagonia stuff. : )))))

  2. Yer, their revenue goes up - and hopefully, five times that comes 'off' Nike's revenue. If the better companies grow and forces change on others, then I'll buy their stuff, and maybe be more than before. How should my greening cash flow... ... is a good place to drop some dosh Trump's election campaign, or into products like Patagonia's... ... who are 1 transparent; 2 sustainable is their direction - hemp, for instance; 3 acceptance of their (and mine) past colonialism; 4 and finally - actually trying? And so yes Patagonia to the military, but maybe even better the Military in the green context... the US mil is clearly a polluter, and is so on a scale bigger on many countries - and to date are excluded from the data on the US in the IPCC and COP data sets, etc., etc. So maybe the Military first so you can keep your fanboy status - just a little longer. : )))))
